Taste of flight - $195 (video included)

We are able to help you learn past the taste of flight class. Classes will be taught on an individual basis at your own pace. We will work each lesson on your individual needs to get you flying with us in the clouds in no time! We charge 70 dollars an hour (including gear/video) after the first flight lesson). Learn things like kiting, advanced air maneuvers, and more!

Ever wonder what it's like to fly like a bird? Here's your chance to find out! Our "taste of flight" course involves about 30 minutes of ground school. In this, you will learn how we are able to fly, the gear we use to do it, and everything else you need to know to soar! This is a very casual "school", where we will just be meeting at the bottom of the hill. After we are confident, and you are confident, you will learn how to launch, fly, and land the wing. We go at your own pace for both aspects of the course. The class takes 2 hours. If you are struggling, we can spend a little extra time to make sure you get it right. We can promise at least 2-3 flights each by the end of the course.* You can expect to get between a few feet to 100 feet off the ground these first flights! If you are eager to fly more, you can get as many flights in as your legs can take you up the hill! HD video and pictures of all your flights are included in the price. They will be presented to you as raw files, so you can do whatever you want with them in the future! 

We fly all year round. Cold doesn't stop good flying! Only excessive snow and rain will cause us to have to reschedule

                   Requirements for courses

 

  You must:

 

• Be in good physical health, no more than 240 lbs. ($25 surcharge over 200 lbs.)
• Know that if you lie about your body weight, there is immense added risk for you. You need to be on the correct wing size for your weight range to be safe.
• Be 18 or older.
•  Understand that your ability to fly is 100% on you. *Our instructors will give you instruction and feedback until you are exhausted, but at the end of the day, it's your ability to follow instructions that will lift you off the ground. 

         Note: We have never had someone not be able to fly on the first class.

• Bring your own helmet, unless you want to borrow one.
• Wear warm clothes during winter months. We fly year round!
• Sign our liability waiver.
• Understand that paragliding is an inherently risky activity, and no amount of good instruction can save you from injury or death if you are failing the IQ test.              (I.e. being stupid/reckless. Paragliding is as safe as you make it.)
• Have fun and smile! We're flying here, not doing taxes.
